From 24–27 August 2026, AIPA, in collaboration with the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), convened the Parliamentary Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue on Responsible Investment for Food and Climate Security in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Celebrating the 59th Anniversary of ASEAN, on 8 August 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, joined the official ceremony at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia. Held under the theme, “Navigating Our Future, Together,” the celebration brought together ASEAN stakeholders to commemorate ASEAN’s enduring spirit of cooperation and collaboration

Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, attended the Jakarta Forum 2026 in commemoration of the 5th Anniversary of the ASEAN–China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and Special Report Launch, and participated as a panellist in Plenary Session 1, “Strengthen Multilateralism and Jointly Upholding the International Order Based on International Law”, held at the ASEAN Headquarters
