On 14 August 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, received a delegation from the Forum Komunikasi Mahasiswa Hubungan Internasional se-Indonesia (FKMHII) Regional Coordinator II to the ASEAN Headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia.

FKMHII is a national forum that brings together students and student associations from International Relations study programmes across Indonesia.

During the visit, discussions focused on parliamentary diplomacy and AIPA’s role in strengthening regional cooperation. The visit also provided an opportunity for the students to engage in an interactive discussion session with the Secretary-General, gain a deeper understanding of AIPA’s work, and learn about opportunities for youth engagement.
