On 26 May 2026, speakers of the AIPA-Cambodia National Parliamentary Conference on Climate Governance paid a courtesy call on Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Joined by Hon. Eddy Soeparno, Deputy Speaker of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia; Hon. Anna Victoria Veloso-Tuazon, Vice Chairperson of the Special Committee on ASEAN Affairs of the House of Representatives of the Philippines; Ms. Putri Maha Lima, Deputy Secretary General of AIPA; Prof. Louis Ng, Senior Fellow of Tara Climate Foundation, and speakers from partner institutions, the discussion highlighted the importance of collective action in addressing climate change, including through stronger parliamentary dialogue, cooperation, and exchange of experiences across ASEAN.
