Chaired by H.E. Xaysomphone Phomvihane, President of AIPA and President of the National Assembly of Lao PDR, the Meeting of the Executive Committee took place on 18 October 2024 at the National Convention Center, in Vientiane, Lao PDR. The meeting discussed 16 agenda items including the program and agenda for the 45th AIPA General Assembly. The National Assembly of Lao PDR is hosting the 45th AIPA General Assembly with the theme “The Role of Parliaments in Enhancing Connectivity and Inclusive Growth of ASEAN” in Vientiane, Lao PDR, from 17 to 23 October 2024.
