Upon the invitation from the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea and the Governor of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, the AIPA Secretary General and Delegations from 6 AIPA Member Parliaments attended the ASEAN-Korea Leaders Forum from 1 to 2 June 2023 in Jeju, South Korea. The ASEAN-Korea Leaders’ Forum is a special program of the 2023 Jeju Forum for Peace and Security that brought together parliamentarians and business leaders of ASEAN and Korea. The forum was divided into two sessions which focused on the role of parliamentarians and businesses in the supply chain facilitation as well as in the ASEAN-Korea sustainable cooperation in climate change.
