On 21 May 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, attended the Reception on the occasion of the 108th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, hosted by H.E. Mr. Ramil Abil oglu Rzayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Indonesia and ASEAN.

The reception provided an opportunity to strengthen friendship and foster exchanges among diplomatic partners, while reaffirming the importance of cooperation, mutual understanding, and international partnership in promoting peace and prosperity.
