From 21 to 23 August 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, participated in the activities as part of the 2026 Seminar for Parliamentarians of ASEAN Countries in Beijing, China.

The programme featured thematic lectures and interactive exchanges covering topics including Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, clean energy cooperation, multidimensional connectivity, digital connectivity, and agricultural cooperation. As part of the programme, participants also visited the Great Wall, the Beijing Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Center, the Robot Mall and ZTE Corporation, gaining experiences related to China’s cultural heritage, environmental protection, technology and innovation.
