On 21 July 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, hosted a working dinner with H.E. Delia Domingo Albert, Former Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The working dinner provided an opportunity to exchange views ahead of the 17th AIPA Caucus, particularly on the upcoming panel discussion on AIPA’s role in promoting inclusive peace governance. The meeting also discussed strengthening parliamentary support for ASEAN Centrality, including through the effective implementation of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation (TAC) as it marks its 50th Anniversary in 2026.
