The AIPA Secretariat, in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), with support from the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), and the Swedish International Cooperation Agency (SIDA), organized the 2nd Joint Event to enhance the effective implementation of the ASEAN Guidelines on Responsible Investment in Food, Agriculture, and Forestry (ASEAN RAI), on 23 – 26 July 2024, in Bali, Indonesia.
The two-day event brought together AIPA Member Parliaments, policymakers, and representatives from the private sector, civil society, and academia to foster collaboration on promoting responsible investment in food, agriculture, and forestry, to further deepen these efforts by carrying out a stakeholders’ dialogue, finalizing the draft of the RAI Parliamentary Implementation Framework, and enhancing the implementation of the ASEAN Guidelines on Responsible Investment in Food, Agriculture, and Forestry (ASEAN RAI).
