At the invitation of the ASEAN Youth Forum Regional Coordinator, AIPA Deputy Secretary General attended the SEA Youth Summit. She shared her insights, from regional perspective of AIPA, on the importance of promoting synergy between parliamentarians and other stakeholders in preserving democracy while respecting the diversity of culture and political system. On this occasion, she also shared AIPA’s initiatives to meaningfully engage youth at the regional level, including the recently established Young Parliamentarians of AIPA. In her closing statement, she conveyed a message that youth should not avoid politics, but embrace it, ensuring their voices are heard and acted upon, both at the national and regional level. #ouraipaourasean
