More than 1,000 delegates from AIPA Member Parliaments, Timor-Leste, the ASEAN Secretariat, the AIPA Secretariat, AIPA Observer Parliaments, Guests of AIPA, Guests of the Host, and Development Partners participated in the 46ᵗʰ AIPA General Assembly at the World Trade Center, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Opening Ceremony was held on 18 September 2025 and commenced with remarks by H.E. Ar. Siti Rozaimeriyanty Dato Haji Abdul Rahman, Secretary General of AIPA, followed by the Opening Address by H.E. Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr.) Johari bin Abdul, President of AIPA and Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malaysia. The Ceremony concluded with the officiating address by the Honourable Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, marking the official opening of the 46th AIPA General Assembly.
