The Parliament of Malaysia successfully hosted the 8th Meeting of the AIPA Advisory Council on Dangerous Drugs (AIPACODD) from 9–12 June 2025 in Kuantan, Pahang. Held under the theme “Uniting Parliaments for an Inclusive and Sustainable ASEAN in Addressing Contemporary Drug Issues,” the meeting served as a vital platform for parliamentarians from AIPA Member Parliaments to harmonize legislative responses to dangerous drug threats—while respecting national sovereignty and adapting to emerging challenges such as synthetic drugs, digital drug markets, and the vulnerabilities of youth.
