Under Malaysia’s AIPA Presidency 2025, AIPA successfully hosted the 2nd Consultative Meeting of Young Parliamentarians of AIPA (YPA) in Klang, Selangor, from 5 to 8 May 2025. The meeting brought together young parliamentarians from AIPA Member Parliaments to exchange ideas, share best practices, and recommendations on “Ensuring ASEAN’s Future: Youth in Action for Sustainability and Inclusivity,” The meeting served as a platform to amplify the voices of ASEAN youth and reaffirm AIPA’s shared commitment to advancing youth empowerment as key drivers of a sustainable and inclusive ASEAN. This meeting also featured dynamic multi-stakeholders dialogues to explore strategies for fostering greater youth involvement.
