The successful convening of the National Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the ASEAN Guidelines on Promoting Responsible Investment in Food, Agriculture, and Forestry (ASEAN RAI) on 26 November 2025 stands as yet another milestone in ASEAN’s ongoing journey toward a more resilient and sustainable ASEAN future.

Hosted by AIPA and the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, with support from FAO, the National FGD convened more than 30 key stakeholders including parliamentarians, government agencies, the private sector, academia, and civil society to exchange insights on Indonesia’s responsible investment landscape in food, agriculture, and forestry. Through constructive and interacive dialogue, the FGD supports the implementation of the ASEAN RAI Parliamentary Implementation Framework 2024–2030.

Collectively, we are paving the way toward a more responsible, resilient, and sustainable ASEAN.
