On 25 August 2025, the Secretary General of AIPA paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Tran Thanh Man, President of the National Assembly of Viet Nam in Hanoi. The visit highlighted appreciation for Viet Nam’s continued support to AIPA initiatives, particularly in promoting youth engagement, and acknowledged its contributions to advancing parliamentary diplomacy at both the regional and global levels. In light of the upcoming 46th AIPA General Assembly, the courtesy visit also provided an opportunity to exchange views on strengthening parliamentary collaboration.
