On 7 August 2025, the Delegation of Young Parliamentarians of AIPA (YPA) from Malaysia, led by Hon. Dato’ Indera Mohd Shahar bin Abdullah, Chairperson of YPA and Member of the House of Representatives of Malaysia, undertook a working visit to Indonesia. As part of the visit, the Parliament of Malaysia and the AIPA Secretariat co-organised the YPA–AIPA Youth Programme under the theme “Shaping ASEAN 2040: Why Sustainability and Inclusivity Matter?”, bringing together young leaders to exchange perspectives on building a more inclusive and sustainable ASEAN. The delegation also paid courtesy calls to Hon. Ravindra Airlangga, Vice-Chairperson of the Committee for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation of the House of Representatives of Indonesia, and H.E. Ar. Siti Rozaimeriyanty Dato Haji Abdul Rahman, Secretary General of AIPA.
