On 16 August 2025, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, Speaker of the Legislative Council of Brunei Darussalam, paid an official visit to the AIPA Secretariat Office in Jakarta, Indonesia. During the visit, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib was briefed on AIPA’s latest activities and initiatives, as well as the preparations for the 46th AIPA General Assembly, which will be held in September 2025. Yang Berhormat Pehin also had a tour around the AIPA Secretariat Office.
