On 22 January 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, paid a Courtesy Call on H.E. Amb. Evangeline T. Ong Jimenez-Ducrocq, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Philippines to ASEAN. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange updates on the Philippine AIPA Presidency, discuss upcoming AIPA meetings and activities, and explore avenues to further strengthen AIPA–ASEAN engagement, while reaffirming AIPA’s readiness to work closely in support of the Philippines’ leadership in ASEAN.
