On 21 September 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, undertook a series of high-level official engagements in Algiers. The Secretary-General of AIPA had the valuable opportunity to have a productive meeting at the People’s National Assembly, Council of Nation and the Ministry of Relations with Parliament. These meaningful and constructive meetings provides potential avenues to further strengthen parliamentary cooperation between AIPA and Algeria, and two regions as a whole.

H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya is on a high-level visit to Algeria, at the invitation of the People’s National Assembly of Algeria, from 20 to 24 September 2026.
