On 17 September 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, continued his high-level visit to Europe in Paris, France, where he held meetings with the Secretary-General of the French Assemblée Nationale, the Secretary-General of the French Senate, and representatives of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The meetings provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives and deepen parliamentary cooperation and international partnerships in addressing shared priorities and common concerns.

The visit to Paris is part of H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya’s high-level visit to Europe, at the invitation of the European Parliament, from 13 to 18 September 2026.
