On 13 January 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary General of AIPA received a Courtesy Call from H.E. Raman Ramanouski, Ambassador of Belarus of Indonesia and ASEAN at AIPA Secretariat Office. The meeting reaffirmed a shared commitment to strengthening meaningful engagement between AIPA and Belarus.

The National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus formally granted observer status to AIPA in 2012 and is among the 26 members of AIPA’s Observer Parliaments.
