Brunei Darussalam continues to demonstrate its commitment to advancing women’s leadership at the national level🇧🇳. With women comprising 37% of middle and senior managerial roles in the private sector—the highest in ASEAN—this progress presents valuable opportunities to further enhance women’s participation in political leadership. In line with the WPPL Implementation Framework, AIPA and the Legislative Council of Brunei Darussalam, in collaboration with UN Women and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Brunei Darussalam, will convene a National Parliamentary Dialogue on Promoting Women’s Political Participation and Leadership (WPPL) on 18 June 2025 in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam.
