The Study Committee on the Transformation of the AIPA Advisory Council on Dangerous Drugs (AIPACODD) for Enhanced Cooperation on Transnational Crime is convening its meeting on 28–29 January 2026 at the ASEAN Headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia.

During Day 1, the Study Committee engaged in substantive discussions on national legislative responses to emerging and evolving transnational crime threats, ASEAN’s regional mechanisms and coordination frameworks, and strategic perspectives on strengthening regional cooperation, with participation from the ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Drug Matters (ASOD), the ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Transnational Crime (SOMTC), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT).
