On 20 September 2025, the Second Plenary Session of the 46ᵗʰ AIPA General Assembly was convened under the chairmanship of H.E. Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr.) Johari bin Abdul, President of AIPA and Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malaysia. The session considered and adopted reports from all meetings and dialogues, and concluded with the signing of the Joint Communiqué, reaffirming AIPA’s commitment to place parliaments at the forefront in advancing an inclusive and sustainable ASEAN.
