The 4th AIPA-ASEAN Hearing, held on 17 September 2025 under the theme “Forging an Inclusive and Sustainable Future,” brought together delegates from nine (9) AIPA Member Parliaments, H.E. Nararya S. Soeprapto, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs, and H.E. Prak Kimhong, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM) of Cambodia, representing the ASEAN Committee on Disaster Management (ACDM) and the Governing Board of the AHA Centre. Chaired by Hon. Syahredzan bin Johan, the Hearing underscored the critical role of parliaments in supporting ASEAN 2045, enhancing disaster preparedness, and ensuring inclusive, people-driven regional policies.
