Hey YOU(th)! 🙋🏻‍♀️ Under Malaysia’s Presidency of AIPA, the Young Parliamentarians of AIPA (YPA) of Malaysia are undertaking a series of visits to AIPA Member Parliaments to deepen parliamentary collaboration and promote regional understanding among fellow young parliamentarians and youth leaders. As part of their visit to Indonesia, the Parliament of Malaysia and the AIPA Secretariat are organising the YPA–AIPA Youth Programme on 7 August 2025, under the theme “Shaping ASEAN 2040: Why Sustainability and Inclusivity Matter?” With youth comprising nearly one-third of ASEAN’s population, their active involvement in shaping inclusive and sustainable development is essential. This programme aims to foster meaningful dialogue with grassroots youth to better understand their aspirations, challenges, and ideas for the future of ASEAN.
