From 21 to 24 April 2025, the Parliament of Malaysia, as the AIPA Presidency for 2025, will host the 4th Meeting of the Coordinating Committee of Women Parliamentarians of AIPA (WAIPA) in Kuching, Sarawak. Held under the theme “Steering Innovation, Inclusivity and Diversity through Gender-Balanced Parliaments for a Future-Ready ASEAN,” the meeting will explore the transformative potential of gender-balanced parliaments in ASEAN, highlighting their capacity to drive innovative policymaking and strengthen responsiveness to pressing societal needs.
