On 6 August 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, attended the Farewell Dinner hosted by Ms. Sunita Lukkhoo, Head of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Regional Representation for Southeast Asia and the Pacific, in honour of H.E. Sujiro Seam, Ambassador of the European Union to ASEAN, on the occasion of the completion of his tenure, held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The dinner served as an opportunity to celebrate H.E. Sujiro Seam’s contributions to strengthening cooperation between the European Union and ASEAN, while bringing together ambassadors, representatives of ASEAN institutions, and distinguished guests to mark the successful completion of his diplomatic mission.
