We are deeply saddened by the passing of Hon. Jose de Venecia Jr., a respected statesman and valued member of the AIPA family.
Having twice served as President of AIPO in 1994 and 2006, his visionary leadership was instrumental in strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation in ASEAN. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, he was honored with the AIPA Distinguished Award last year.

His legacy of dedication, wisdom, and service will continue to inspire us.
