This October, the Philippine House of Representatives commemorates Philippine House of Representatives Month, marking the inauguration of the First Philippine Assembly on 16 October 1907. The month-long celebration pays tribute to the men and women who have served as legislators since 1907 and their contributions to the Filipino people.

This year’s theme, expressed in Tagalog as “Tayo ang Sigla, Boses at Diwa! Tayo ang Bagong Kongreso!” (We Are the Energy, Voice, and Spirit! We Are the New Congress!), highlights the collective spirit and shared commitment of the House community.
