On 9 September 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, received a courtesy call by Ms. Ulziisuren Jamsran, Country Representative and Liaison to ASEAN of UN Women Indonesia, at the AIPA Secretariat Office in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on continued collaboration between AIPA and UN Women in advancing Women’s Political Participation and Leadership (WPPL) across ASEAN, particularly through the WAIPA Plan of Action and Implementation Framework on WPPL 2024–2030. Discussions also explored potential areas for future cooperation and support to advance shared priorities across the region.
