On 2 October 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, welcomed students and representatives from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)/ National University of Malaysia to the AIPA Secretariat.

The visit provided an opportunity for the students to learn more about AIPA, its role in strengthening parliamentary cooperation in ASEAN, and its engagement with young people. The session also featured an interactive exchange with the Secretary-General on AIPA’s work and opportunities for youth engagement in regional affairs.
