On 14 September 2026 in Brussels, Belgium, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, held engagements with representatives of EU institutions, parliamentary partnership initiatives, and experts. The engagements provided an opportunity to exchange views on the current state of regional and global affairs, as well as to explore opportunities to further strengthen parliamentary cooperation and the strategic partnership between ASEAN and the European Union.

The official visit to Brussels, Belgium is part of H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya’s high-level visit to Europe, at the invitation of the European Parliament, from 13 to 18 September 2026.
