On 11 February 2026, the Capacity Development Program on Climate Change for AIPA Member Parliaments was officially launched at its Kick-Off Event in Manila, Philippines, jointly organised by the House of Representatives of the Philippines and AIPA.

The Program, initiated following the adoption of an AIPA Resolution at the 46th AIPA General Assembly in Kuala Lumpur, aims to strengthen parliamentary engagement in climate governance through climate-focused capacity development initiatives.
