The National Parliamentary Dialogue on Promoting Women’s Political Participation and Leadership (WPPL) is hosted by AIPA and the Legislative Council of Brunei Darussalam, in collaboration with UN Women and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Brunei Darussalam. Held in conjunction with Brunei MYCE 2025, the dialogue is scheduled to take place on 18 June 2025 in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam. The dialogue will bring together representatives from parliament, relevant ministries, and civil society organisations, to foster cross-sectoral collaboration in advancing women’s empowerment through substantive representation and leadership in political arena. This initiative supports the WAIPA Plan of Action and Implementation Framework on WPPL (2024–2030).
