On 15 October 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, welcomed a delegation from Directions (Discussion and Research of International Relations), a non-profit, non-governmental organisation originating from the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, to the AIPA Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The visit provided an opportunity for undergraduate students from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta to gain insights into AIPA’s role in promoting parliamentary diplomacy and strengthening regional cooperation, as well as its work in supporting the ASEAN Community.
