On 18 September 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, concluded his high-level visit to Europe in Berlin, Germany, where he held a series of meetings with representatives of the German Federal Foreign Ministry, the German Bundestag, the University of Potsdam, and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, while also visiting the German Bundestag and the University of Potsdam. The engagements provided an opportunity to advance parliamentary diplomacy, exchange perspectives, and strengthen closer cooperation with German institutions and partners.

The visit to Berlin is part of H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya’s high-level visit to Europe, at the invitation of the European Parliament, from 13 to 18 September 2026.
