On 10 September 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, received students from Al-Azhar Indonesia University at the ASEAN Headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The visit provided an opportunity for the students to learn more about AIPA and its role in advancing parliamentary diplomacy and strengthening regional cooperation within ASEAN. The students also engaged in an interactive discussion with the Secretary-General, gaining insights into AIPA’s work and opportunities for youth to engage in regional and international affairs.
