On 27 August 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, together with the Heads of Delegation participating in the 2nd Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC-2), was received in a Royal Audience by His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath NORODOM SIHAMONI, King of Cambodia, at the Royal Palace of Cambodia.

The Royal Audience, held ahead of the official opening of ISC-2, provided an opportunity for participating parliamentary leaders and heads of inter-parliamentary organisations to pay their respects to His Majesty and highlighted Cambodia’s role in hosting the Conference.
