Celebrating the 59th Anniversary of ASEAN, on 8 August 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, joined the official ceremony at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia. Held under the theme, “Navigating Our Future, Together,” the celebration brought together ASEAN stakeholders to commemorate ASEAN’s enduring spirit of cooperation and collaboration.

As part of the celebration, the AIPA Secretariat also participated in the information booth, showcasing AIPA’s role in advancing parliamentary cooperation and fostering greater public awareness of its contributions to ASEAN Community-building.
