During the Opening Ceremony of the 17th Meeting of the AIPA Caucus, H.E. Dr. (H.C.) Puan Maharani, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, delivered the Opening Speech.

In her remarks, H.E. Puan Maharani emphasized that ASEAN’s Centrality is built upon unity, mutual trust, and regional cooperation, guided by the shared values of dialogue, consensus, collaboration, respect for international law, and the principles of multilateralism. She also underscored the vital role of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening ASEAN Centrality amid an increasingly complex and evolving global landscape.
