On 7 July 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, attended the Welcome Reception of H.E. Kevin Kim, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to ASEAN, in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The reception provided an opportunity to maintain meaningful engagement with members of the diplomatic community, while reaffirming AIPA’s commitment to advancing dialogue, cooperation, and partnership in support of a peaceful, resilient, and people-centred ASEAN.
