On 16 June 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, attended a dinner engagement with Prof. Dave Peebles, Director of the Pacific Security College, Ms. Elizabeth Solomon, Assistant Secretary-General for Foreign and Community Relations of the CARICOM Secretariat, and Mr. Esala Nayasi, Deputy Secretary General for Strategic Policy and Programming of the Pacific Islands Forum, in Suva, Fiji.

The engagement provided an opportunity to exchange views on regional developments, explore areas of mutual interest, and reaffirm the importance of dialogue, partnership, and multilateral cooperation in advancing a peaceful, resilient, and prosperous future across regions.
