On 22 May 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Sultan Baktiar Najamudin, Speaker of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (Upper Chamber), in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The meeting served as an opportunity to strengthen inter-parliamentary relations and exchange views on enhancing parliamentary cooperation in the ASEAN region.
