On 22 October 2026, Ms. Putri Maha Lima, Deputy Secretary-General of AIPA, participated as a panellist in the Global Thematic Event on “Empowering Family Farmers to Strengthen Sustainable Food Systems and to Achieve Food Security and Nutrition,” held during the 54th Session of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) in Rome, Italy.

During the session, she highlighted how the CFS Principles for Responsible Investment in Agriculture and Food Systems (CFS RAI) provided the foundation for the ASEAN Guidelines on Promoting Responsible Investment in Food, Agriculture and Forestry (ASEAN RAI). She also underscored the efforts of AIPA, with support from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), in translating the ASEAN RAI Guidelines into national parliamentary actions.
