On 14 July 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, attended the Bastille Day 2026 Reception hosted by the Embassy of France to Indonesia, Timor-Leste, and ASEAN in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The reception brought together members of diplomatic community and partners to foster meaningful exchanges and strengthen ASEAN–France relations, while providing an opportunity to enhance engagement and dialogue among partners in the region.
