On 1 July 2026, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary-General of AIPA, attended the Dinner Reception on the occasion of the 9th ASEAN–Pakistan Joint Sectoral Cooperation Committee (APJSCC) Meeting, hosted by H.E. Mr. Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Indonesia, Timor-Leste and ASEAN, in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The reception provided an opportunity to engage with ASEAN Dialogue Partners, diplomatic communities and regional stakeholders, while reaffirming AIPA’s commitment to strengthening parliamentary diplomacy, fostering dialogue, and supporting cooperation that contributes to regional peace, stability, and sustainable development.
