On 30 March 2026, the Regional Parliamentary Preparatory Meeting for AIPA’s participation in the 3rd Global Parliamentary Summit Against Hunger and Malnutrition was held in a hybrid format in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Meeting brought together delegates from AIPA Member Parliaments to strengthen regional coordination and articulate a coherent approach to addressing hunger, malnutrition, and food insecurity in Southeast Asia, while highlighting the role of parliaments in legislation, oversight, and resource allocation.
