From 17 to 18 November 2025, the Incumbent 6th AIPA Secretary General, H.E. Siti Rozaimeriyanty Dato Haji Abdul Rahman, received a Courtesy Visit by the Incoming 7th AIPA Secretary General, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, as he prepares to assume his term of office next year. On the first day, the programme included a Courtesy Call on H.E. Evangeline T. Ong Jimenez-Ducrocq, Permanent Representative of the Philippines to ASEAN, followed by a Courtesy Call on Hon. Dr. Syahrul Aidi Maazat, L.c., M.A., Chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI), and Hon. Ravindra Airlangga, Vice Chair of the Committee. On the following day, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya continued the engagements with a Courtesy Call on H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary General of ASEAN, and a Coordination Meeting with the AIPA Secretariat, reaffirming AIPA’s commitment to a smooth leadership handover, sustained dialogue, and strengthened inter-parliamentary cooperation across ASEAN.
