Good news from Brunei Darussalam!

The Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) has officially welcomed the Legislative Council of Brunei Darussalam as its 183rd Member Parliament, marking the completion of the Asia-Pacific group’s representation within the IPU.

This milestone follows Brunei Darussalam’s active engagement with the IPU. After fulfilling the formal procedures outlined in the IPU’s Rules and Procedures, its membership was confirmed at the 151st Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.
